Job Purpose:
Lead - Sales and Marketing in the business development department oversees sales and marketing effort to propel business expansion and meet revenue goals.
Responsibilities
1. Combined Shipping Line & NVOCC Relationship Management
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned Shipping Lines and NVOCCs
- Manage daily operational and commercial interactions with carriers and NVOCC partners
- Build and maintain solid working relationships to ensure continuity of volumes and service reliability
- Support senior management in strengthening long‑term carrier and NVOCC partnerships
2. Container, Capacity & Volume Management
- Coordinate daily with Shipping Lines to ensure timely availability of empty containers
- Align container supply with NVOCC and customer demand
- Execute assigned monthly TEU and volume targets for Shipping Lines and NVOCCs
- Monitor carrier‑wise and NVOCC‑wise volume performance and highlight deviations
- Ensure optimal utilization of containers and available capacity
