We’re hiring a Senior Manager/AVP - Company Secretary for one of India's premier asset management companies. As the Senior Manager/AVP - Company Secretary, your responsibilites would be:
- Driving governance excellence and ensuring full compliance under SEBI, AMFI, and the Companies Act.
- To act as the key link between the Board, regulators, trustees, and senior management.
- To organize and manage Board and Committee meetings, including drafting agendas, recording minutes, and maintaining statutory registers.
- Play a pivotal role in safeguarding stakeholder confidence and supporting the long-term integrity of the business.
Requirements
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI; LLB or equivalent legal qualification preferred.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience specifically within Asset Management Companies (AMCs).
- Robust understanding of mutual fund governance frameworks and compliance protocols.
- Experience working with Mutual Fund and Trustee companies, as well as exposure to SEBI inspections or regulatory audits.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
