This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a QA/QC Engineer - SAR-EO Image Testing, Validation & Automation. We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer primarily focused on structured testing and validation of SAR and Electro-Optical imagery products and the associated image analysis applications. This is a testing-first role responsible for:
- Manual and automated testing of SAR & EO imagery outputs
- Validation of AI/ML model-driven image analysis results
- Application-level testing of image analysis tools
- Structured defect reporting and regression tracking
- Audit-ready documentation and release validation.
Key Responsibilities
A. Image Testing & Model Output Validation
- Perform manual inspection of SAR and EO imagery for artifacts, distortions, and inconsistencies.
- Validate model outputs (detections, classifications, overlays) against expected performance.
- Cross-check image analysis results against defined accuracy benchmarks.
- Identify regression issues across model and product versions.
- Maintain structured image validation checklists.
B. Application Testing (Image Analysis Platform)
- Test end-to-end workflows within the image analysis application (systematic testing of the application layer, not only imagery).
- Validate rendering accuracy (overlays, annotations, bounding boxes).
- Test feature releases across standalone and server-based deployments.
- Conduct regression testing for recent model versions and UI updates.
- Identify functional, performance, and usability defects.
