We are seeking an experienced Business Development Team Leader to lead and mentor a team of Business Development Executives responsible for onboarding merchants onto a rapidly growing hyperlocal commerce platform. The role requires strong leadership, field execution, and target achievement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate the Business Development team.
- Plan daily field activities and allocate territories.
- Acquire and onboard new merchants to the platform.
- Support executives during client meetings and negotiations.
- Monitor team productivity and achievement of sales targets.
- Conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews.
- Submit daily MIS, activity reports and performance updates.
- Coordinate with management to improve merchant acquisition and onboarding quality.
