Azure Cloud Lead Operations Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Operations Lead Engineer with 8 to 10 years’ experience specializing in Azure to join our IT Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Azure services, environments, and cloud infrastructure management. You will be responsible for leading issue resolution, coordinating with relevant teams, and maintaining the Azure cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and maintenance of complex Azure cloud environments created and maintained by the Cloud Engineering teams.
• Engage with and resolve issues related to applications, connectivity, and other operational concerns within Azure environments.
• Maintain and support various Azure environments, including creating, modifying, and removing environments, topologies, and instances.
• Monitor and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.




• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering teams to understand workplace configurations and potential impact areas.
• Document and update operational processes and support procedures specific to Azure and Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure efficiency in key metrics, such as the number of incidents resolved and changes implemented in Azure environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Requirements:
• Comprehensive understanding of core Azure services: VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure AD, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure Portal.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure security practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), network security groups (NSGs), Azure Policy, and Azure Key Vault.
• Experience with Azure networking services: Virtual Networks, Azure DNS, Load Balancer,
