Role Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Engineer Design of the Central Support Desk (CSD), your role will be pivotal in delivering structured Engineering support from pre-signing to opening New Build, Conversion & Existing Hotel Investment projects across the EMEAA region.
Key Accountabilities
To support the design and development of high-quality, effective, productive, sustainable and compliant mechanical or electrical building services systems. Starting from the point of creating the Brand Suitability Report (BSR) for New Build or Property Investment Plan (PIP) for conversion projects, and through key stage review and feedback from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our investor, operator and guests client specifications.
In your role, you will be expected utilize and grow your knowledge & understanding of new technology and the solutions that are geared towards improved sustainability, increased effectiveness & efficiency in the operation of our hotels and through the deliver greater experiences for guests,
You will be expected to support this through
➢ BSR / PIP Production – You will produce a BSR for New Build Hotels or PIP for Conversion Projects, through which you reflect the Engineering & Brand Safety Standards (BSS) that is / are applicable. You will also issue our Technical Handbook (THB) and refer to the design and fit out approach we take, which will enable the investor appointed MEP Design Consultants to develop the detailed design specifications, calculations, and drawings (2D/3D) for building services including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical power, lighting, drainage, plumbing, fire & life safety and sustainable solutions.
