About the Position:
We are looking for an Optics Display Design Specialist
This position is based at our office in Gurugram.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Responsible for design, development, validation, and production support of LCD/TFT displays used in automotive instrument clusters, ensuring compliance with optical performance,
reliability, automotive standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Display Design & Specification
Define LCD / TFT display specifications including:Size, resolution, pixel size
Brightness (cd/m²), contrast ratio,Viewing angle (Horizontal/Vertical),Color gamut, gamma, response time.
Select suitable display technology: TN / VA / TFT and other latest industry technologies
Positive mode–Monochrome LCD, Negative mode –Monochrome & Color LCD,Color segment with Gradient effect in LCD, Transmissive / Transflective
Define backlight architecture (LED type, light guide, diffuser, brightness uniformity)
Select suitable design architecture (Design + Material + Process) which will meets the Environmental & Reliability Test conditions
2. Optical Performance Engineering
Evaluate and validate the optical performance through virtual simulation / physical measurements: Brightness uniformity, Ghos
