RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Interpret requirements documents into well-defined design solutions
2. Create wireframes and mockups for UI and application workflows
3. Standardize UI/UX approaches across applications and web properties
4. Define and maintain visual style-guide
5. Produce UI mockups in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
6. Create image collateral for use in UIs
7. Produce well commented, cross-browser compliant, semantic markup
8. Write perform-ant code to support presentation layer interactions with sub layers
9. Document decisions and processes
SKILL SET
1. BE degree in related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3+ years of developing websites and applications
3. Conversant with usage of Photoshop or Illustrator or Sketch or the likes to come up with proficient collaterals
4.
Able to hand-code HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript
5. Strong knowledge of JS libraries and frameworks including Node, jQuery, Underscore and Backbone
6. Robust knowledge of usability and UX best practices
7. Full LAMP stack development experience
8. Proven skill in data visualization; telling a story from complex data
9. Familiarity with responsive, material web design
10. Eye for typographic detail and layout
11. Understanding of image optimization strategies (multimedia in general)
12. Ability to problem solve and come up with novel solutions for complex scenarios
13. Excellent communication skills
