“This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.”Duties and Responsibilities
• Head Underwriting Unit for Credit Appraisal of multiple product line across Salaried, SME and qualified loans across multiple ticket sizes for PAN India loan applications via a centralized and/or Branch based operation.
• Aligning with Business Teams affirm Monthly targets and effectively download processing/approval numbers for team to ensure productivity adherence for business achievements.
• Utilize and build a Monitoring framework for Team and Team Leader Level KRA tracking and providing continuous inputs to ensure same remains on track with consistent improvement areas highlighted.
• Effectively mentoring to create a High functioning Team with good risk assessment, customer profiling, effective processing capabilities while maintaining clear mandate on role expectations in line with organizational goals for Team leaders and individual contributors as well.




• Liase with Risk team to identify high risk Portfolio indicators and work on actionables via Underwriting changes and assist in policy change implementation, align the team for monthly collections framework.
• Liase with Product and PMO Teams to discuss and raise Change requirements for major system enhancements and process implementations to reach efficient operating strategies for the Underwiring unit.
• Liase with Field Sales Stakeholders for escalations /interventions for transaction level decisions and driving underwriting strategy across locations for alignment and efficient Business-as-usual across product lines.
• Timeline Reviewing Cases being processed to identify any actionables and implement same quickly with quick feedback to the Team Leads for effective implementation across the teams.
• Weekly and monthly Review of Team performance for continuous improvements of performance.
• Drive a culture for Zero tolerance of Frauds and Manual error while processing of applications, Liase with RCU Team for any lear
