Position: Senior Resident – Dermatology

Department: Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy

Qualification: MD / DNB in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (Skin & VD)

Experience: 0–3 years post-PG (as per NMC guidelines)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing OPD, IPD, and dermatology procedures (e.g., cryotherapy, chemical peeling, skin biopsy)
- Support consultants in diagnosis and treatment of dermatological, venereal, and leprosy cases
- Conduct bedside teaching and case discussions with UG/PG students
- Participate in academic activities like journal clubs, seminars, and departmental meetings
- Maintain patient records and support clinical documentation
- Assist in research, publications, and CME programs
- Contribute to dermatopathology and cosmetology services where applicable

Skills Required:
- Solid clinical knowledge in dermatology
- Hands-on skills in minor dermatological procedures
- Interest in teaching and academic work
- Good communication and team coordination
