Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Architecture, Engineering, and Assurance, the Digital Manager will be vital to the success of the architecture, engineering, and assurance pillar. He/She will be a member of the leadership team, supporting the creation and leading a best of breed assurance capability able to support Projects, Change and 3rd Line Support across all systems and platforms including integration to COTS, Legacy and Vendor Systems across entire Waystone group.

The Digital Manager will be responsible for establishing an effective local operating mode, developing appropriate leadership layers, and creating an environment where technical staff can focus on their core disciplines. Working collaboratively with global leadership, the role ensures that local execution aligns with global standards, practices, and strategic priorities, through people leadership, capability development, workforce planning, and structured operational governance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, structure, and mature a cross-functional team of developers, testers,



and emerging disciplines, ensuring explicit role expectations, effective leadership layers, and consistent standards of performance, engagement, and delivery.
- Establish and run a robust recruitment and on-boarding process that enables the team to scale efficiently and integrate new hires and new roles effectively into the existing operating model.
- Ensure all team members at all times are skilled, equipped, and supported with the right tools, training, and opportunities to deliver high-quality outcomes while maintaining focus on their technical disciplines.
- Evaluate and plan for the introduction of new technologies, initially assessing whether current team capabilities can adapt before recruiting externally, ensuring alignment with globally defined technical direction.
