We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our team at Spacekayak. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to turn ideas into user-centric solutions that balance form and function. What you’ll do:
- Design User Experiences: Translate business requirements and user needs into elegant, engaging, and easy-to-use interfaces.
- Create & Maintain Design Systems: Develop reusable components and patterns to ensure a cohesive visual language across products.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Build low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent clearly.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct interviews, usability testing, and A/B experiments to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers on feature definitions and engineers on smooth design hand-offs.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas into our products.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills across web or mobile products
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Understanding of design principles, typography, and responsive layouts
- Ability to translate complex workflows into easy, usable designs
- Bonus: Experience with motion design, illustration, or branding
