JOB DESCRIPTION OF WINDOWS & VMWARE ADMINISTRATOR

Job Title (Designation): Windows Administrator AM II/DM II

Department: Information Technology -Infrastructure

Reports to: VP-IT Experience: 4 / 5 Years of work experience (Banking environment preferred)

Required Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Any Graduation Degree

Preferred Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Any Graduation Degree

Skill, Knowledge & Trainings:
- Should have hands on experience on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Server based OSE viz. Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022 and various infrastructures roles viz. LDAP, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server etc.
- Should have hands on experience on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of VMware ESXi hypervisor, Host Client, vCenter management and well versed with core VMware functionalities viz. vMotion, svMotion, DRS, HA, vSAN, VUM, vSphere Lifecycle Management (vLCM) etc
- Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, CIS hardening, host.
- Management of users, processes, resource contention,



preventive maintenance and management of updates, firmware, patches to ensure that the system is timely updated.
- Should have expertise on various Windows based management / monitoring tools like SCCM/MECM for patch management and application deployment, SAM for resource monitoring, Airlock for application whitelisting etc.
- Should have expertise to provide first level support for NAS Storage, SAN storage, SAN switch, Network switch
- Ability to strengthen information security posture for Windows & VMWare OSE in consultation with IS Security team such as VA/PT/CIS Hardening scans and closure.
- Exposure to Business Continuity Plan for on On-City Data Center, State Level Datacenter or other Cloud operations etc.
