Job Purpose:
The Post Mould Engineer oversees post-mold processing activities,
including trimming, sanding, and surface finishing of wind turbine blades to achieve high-quality aerodynamic profiles. This role ensures surface quality management, performs rigorous quality checks, and operates post-mold processing equipment. The Post Mould Engineer also implements process improvements, maintains safety compliance, and manages resources to optimize production efficiency and output quality.
Responsibilities
Post-Mold Processing Oversight
- Supervise post-mold processing activities, including trimming, sanding, and surface finishing of wind turbine blades to achieve required aerodynamic profiles and surface quality.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as robotic sanding and precision trimming to ensure consistent and high-quality blade finishes.
Surface Quality Management
- Manage the application of coatings and paint on blades, including surface preparation and curing to
