Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Ground Staff to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations at the airport, ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counter, boarding gate, and baggage claim area
- Check passengers' tickets, passports, and other necessary documents
- Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and other travel-related inquiries
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers by following all airport and airline regulations
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the boarding process and help passengers find their seats
- Coordinate with other ground staff, flight crew, and airport personnel to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the aircraft
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of local languages and customs is an asset
