About the Team
The Government Alliances team works closely with Central Government Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, Urban Local Bodies, Smart Cities, Regulatory Authorities, and Government-backed institutions to drive digital payment adoption and enable large-scale citizen payment ecosystems. The team plays a critical role in strengthening Paytm's position as a preferred digital payments partner for public sector entities.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial professional to join us as Senior Manager – Key Accounts (Government Alliances & Payments). The incumbent will be responsible for managing strategic government relationships, driving payment business growth,
and leading the deployment of Paytm's payment solutions across government and public sector ecosystems.
The role requires solid stakeholder management capabilities, a deep understanding of government engagement models, and experience in managing large institutional accounts and payment programs.
Expectations / Requirements
Drive acquisition, management, and growth of key Government and PSU accounts across assigned territories.
Build and nurture relationships with senior government officials, department heads, procurement teams, and ecosystem partners.
Identify opportunities for implementing Paytm payment solutions across citizen services, taxes, utility collections, transportation, licensing, permits, and public service delivery platforms.
Lead discussions around payment digitization initiatives and support government digital transformation programs.
