Job description: Sourcing (Off-the-Shelf (OTS)
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

You will:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Off-the-Shelf (OTS - Suspension, RVM,
Fasteners, Brakes etc.) Components Lead to join our Strategic Sourcing team. This role is critical in
sourcing, validating, and managing commercially available components that go into our products. You
will work closely with design, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure that chosen
components meet technical,



commercial, and regulatory requirements.

To be successful, you will be expected to:
● Component Strategy & Selection:
Identify, evaluate, and select optimal off-the-shelf components (electrical, electronic, mechanical) for product development based on performance, cost, availability, and lifecycle considerations.
● Supplier Identification & Qualification
○ Map global and domestic supplier landscapes; lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes.
○ Identification, Selection & Qualification of Supplier
○ Establish qualification protocols, audit plans, and scorecards to ensure supplier
capabilities and compliance.
● Cost Management & Negotiation
○ Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction initiatives—targeting 8–10% annual savings.
○ Lead high-stakes negotiations on contract terms, volume discounts, and tooling investments.
