Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HTL Engineer (Hot Runner & Tooling – Plastic Moulding) to oversee and optimize plastic moulding operations. The role involves handling tooling, hot runner systems, process improvements, troubleshooting, and ensuring production efficiency with high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day moulding operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Handle HTL (Hot Runner, Tooling, and Logistics) systems for plastic injection moulding.
- Carry out mould setup, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of moulds and hot runner systems.
- Collaborate with the design and tooling team for mould validation, trials, and improvements.
- Monitor process parameters, optimize cycle time, and reduce rejection rates.
- Maintain documentation of process settings, mould history, and maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in moulding operations.




- Provide technical support to production teams and mentor junior engineers/operators.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and hot runner systems.
- Hands-on experience in mould assembly, disassembly, and maintenance.
- Expertise in troubleshooting process & tooling-related issues.
- Familiarity with mould design concepts, CAD drawings, and toolroom practices.
- Good understanding of quality standards (ISO/TS, Six Sigma, etc.) in plastic components.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering, Tool Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HTL / Tooling / Plastic Injection Moulding operations.
