Role Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in software testing, test automation, and functional validation for modern eCommerce platforms. In this role, you will help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality applications by supporting testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to validate requirements, execute test scenarios, and contribute to overall product quality.

As part of the eCommerce team, you will contribute to quality engineering practices by creating test cases, supporting automation efforts, identifying defects, and helping improve test coverage and release readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective test scenarios and quality outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support functional testing activities during sprint execution and contribute to in-sprint automation under guidance from senior team members.




- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for web, API, and end-to-end validation.
- Create test cases, test scenarios, and test data for recent functional requirements and system enhancements.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured and support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Use programming or scripting languages such as Java or JavaScript to support test automation, with Python as an added advantage.
- Use quality management and tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, ALM, or TestRail to manage test execution, defects, and test documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team members, product partners, and business SMEs in Agile and Scrum environments to clarify requirements and validate expected outcomes.
- Communicate test progress, defects, risks, and blockers clearly within the team and escalate issues when need
