Purpose:

The CMO is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy of all businesses of the group.

The work includes research into the market and competitors. The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning the marketing and branding of multiple businesses in order to grow the customer base and optimize sales and profits.

The CMO will help decide the overall marketing strategy of the organization, with respect to its growth and financial performance and help determine business decisions such as mergers and acquisitions.

Chief Marketing Officer Responsibilities
- Setting marketing goals and objectives for all the businesses
- Driving change across the organization with regard to elements such as social media or digitization
- Planning and implementing a marketing strategy for the organization.
- Spot opportunities in the market and drive growth of the multiple businesses

- Taking responsibility for the look and content of the website(s) and social media outlets, maximising visitor conversion
- Contributing to the growth of the business.
- Acquiring reliable and comprehensive data on sales and customer experience from different departments
- Managing the content marketing strategy of an organization, reviewing it and making necessary changes.
- Setting KPIs for the marketing team of a business.
- Commissioning market research and understanding how markets are evolving.
- Communicating regularly with other departments and executives, reporting on marketing activity
- Managing KPIs to ensure that the marketing of a business is optimised.
- Using data to make decisions based on evidence.
- Keeping up to date with best practices in marketing and technology.
- Design, plan and implement marketing campaigns. This includes monitoring campaigns and making changes when necessary.
