Head of Purchase

Job Summary:

The Head of Purchase will oversee and manage the procurement activities of the company, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality materials, components, and services at competitive prices. This role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management, and efficient coordination with other departments to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

The candidate should have a robust network of relationship in global sourcing especially from South East Asia . Understanding of Raw Materials like Steel, Brass, Plastic, components etc essential.

Candidate having worked in mass production industry with multiple plant facilities would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:




- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Forecast market trends and anticipate changes to ensure continuous supply of required materials.

Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure quality and reliability.

Cost Management:
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement initiatives to achieve financial targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark pricing and procurement processes.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all purchased materials and components meet the company’s quality standards.
