*Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history reviews and comprehensive eye examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and refractive errors.
- Perform ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation, corneal procedures, and glaucoma surgeries.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual field analyzers, and retinal imaging systems.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care to monitor patient progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives,
and continuing medical education programs.
- Contribute to community eye health awareness campaigns and preventive screening programs.
- Stay current with emerging treatments, technologies, and best practices in ophthalmology through ongoing professional development.

*Requirements*
- MBBS degree followed by a postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (D.O. or DNB in Ophthalmology).
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized eye care setting.
- Proficiency in performing routine and complex ophthalmic surgeries with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
- Solid diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with attention to detail and patient safety.
