We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist with robust experience in migrating accounting data from QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) to QuickBooks Online (QBO). The ideal candidate will possess solid end-to-end accounting knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the migration process. This role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise, data accuracy, and strong coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data migration from QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) to QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Review, clean, and validate accounting data before migration to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Map chart of accounts, customers, vendors, items, and historical transactions from QBD to QBO
- Perform post-migration validation, reconciliations, and issue resolution
- Manage end-to-end accounting activities, including:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure accurate opening balances and historical financial data in QBO
- Prepare and review financial statements post-migration
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and explain migration steps.
- Provide user support, documentation, and basic training on QBO best practices
- Identify process improvements and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
