About the Role

Platform Science is looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our Core Product Development team in Chennai. In this role, you will be heavily involved in the architecture, design, and development of high-performance solutions based on Java and Microservices.

Beyond core engineering,



you will play a key technical leadership role—contributing to critical architectural decisions, mentoring feature development teams, and occasionally stepping into Scrum Master responsibilities to ensure smooth sprint execution.

Essential Responsibilities

Architecture & Design: Actively contribute to high-level architectural decisions and lead the implementation of scalable, microservices-based solutions.

Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Participate in the complete product development lifecycle, spanning analysis, design, coding, unit integration, and system testing.

Sustaining Support: Provide ongoing engineering support to our core products, addressing end-to-end feature enhancements and codebase optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Technical Architects, and Software
