This position is to perform virtual MBD simulations in Loads generation domain.
â To build, validate and perform various vehicle dynamics events and correlate with test data.
â To carry out K&C;, handling and vRLDA correlation analysis
â The engineer must independently handle the project task along with Root cause and debugging studies.
â To generate and validate MNF from FE models using NASTRAN.
Roles & Responsibilities:
â Performing durability loads calculations on suspension components, powertrain mounts, suspension to frame/body and axle attachments using
ADAMS/Car
â Building vehicle models and performing K&C;, full vehicle vRLDA simulations in Adams/Car, Altair MotionView
â Review road load and time history data and validation of calculated loads, test data
â Developing and/or improving analysis models and methods. Makes durability assessments and design recommendations based on data analysis and interpreting simulation
results Work with Design, FEA and Test engineers
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
PhD, M.E/M.Tech, B. E/ B.Tech (Automobile, Mechanical, Design
Engineering), specialized in vehicle dyanamics is preferable
Relevant Experience:
3 – 5 years (at least 2 years in OEM)
Overall Experience:
5 – 7 years
