Role Summary / Purpose
The Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design for the Turbine Module is responsible for the mechanical design, development, and validation of Hot Gas Path (HGP) components across GE Vernova's F/HA class heavy-duty gas turbines. This role owns the full engineering lifecycle across NPI, MYA, P2V, Repair, and Fleet & Services programs — with direct accountability for design quality, technical decisions, and program outcomes.
Working within the Turbine Module HGP team, you will apply FEA, component life assessment methods, and applicable design practices to evaluate and validate mechanical designs — driving design reviews with transparent, well-supported conclusions.
You will proactively identify and assess risks at both component and system level — developing and owning appropriate mitigation plans that keep programs on track and designs field-ready.
