Role Overview:

As a .NET Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design and development of .NET-based applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring robust application security and addressing vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cloud-native software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, architecture and development of enterprise-level .NET based applications on Azure, ensuring scalability, robustness, performance and security in alignment with business requirements.
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures on Azure using services such as Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage.




- Own the end-to-end security posture of the platform - covering secure coding standards, threat modelling, vulnerability management, authentication and authorisation using Azure AD / Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 and JWT, secrets management via Azure Key Vault, data protection, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices and architectural standards into the SDLC and conduct code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams on architecture, Azure platform capabilities, and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions.
- Define infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform or Azure Bicep, and design CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices integrated using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
