Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Preferably Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Engineering in NPI and Production phase
Ability to identify/track metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to interface with varied levels from Operators to Plant Management.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in CNC machining of super Alloys, preferably in Aerospace sector.
Job Description Summary
Plan the day-to-day execution and technical support for the introduction of processes for new product development and existing manufacturing Process. Support efforts to consistently improve product and process quality. This role is recognized as a key manufacturing technology specialist within their organization. Interface with global counterparts to achieve Project goals and integrate global activities when necessary.
Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability.
Roles & Responsibilities
• As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, Lead process development, prototype builds, training, recent product development (NPI), managing cost out programs etc.
• Investigating Production issues using problem solving methodologies
• Define requirements for production capacity, initial acceptance quality, cycle time, manufacturing test equipment, and documentation for your product line.
• Ensuring Human and Product safety at process development stage itself by adding engineering control and mistake proofing.
• Setting Project milestone and evaluating progress in timely manner
• Process expertise predominantly in 5 Axis Mill -Turn, 4 Axis Mill and Turn Mill centers to develop NC code, design & development of fixtures and tools for qualifi
