Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured lessons in History and Political Science for Grades 9 to 12
- Explain concepts with clarity, depth, and contextual relevance
- Develop students’ critical thinking, analytical ability, and answer-writing skills
- Encourage discussion, debate, and interpretation of events and concepts
- Prepare students effectively for school assessments and board examinations
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments
- Maintain awareness of board exam paper patterns, marking schemes, and assessment criteria
- Stay updated with curriculum revisions and assessment guidelines
- Maintain accurate lesson plans, assessments, and academic records
- Support students through remedial and enrichment activities
- Collaborate with department members and academic leadership
- Communicate effectively with parents and the school community
- Uphold child safeguarding, academic integrity, and professional ethics
