About the Chance:
We are looking for an Software Development Engineer Principal to define and drive the end-to-end technical vision for Dara’s AI capabilities, spanning LLM orchestration, MCP tooling, event-driven architectures, and graph-based document intelligence. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will architect solutions, develop production-grade code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions within a modern mortgage servicing platform.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:
- Own and drive the AI/ML technical roadmap for the Dara MCP platform.
• Define scalable reference architectures for LLM orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and document intelligence solutions.
• Design MCP server topology, tool contracts, and Streamable HTTP implementation patterns.
• Establish and govern event-driven AI architecture standards utilizing Kafka and distributed messaging systems.
• Drive graph data model evolution and Neo4j architecture aligned to industry standards and business needs.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, cloud services, and third-party platforms to support strategic initiatives.
• Lead proof-of-concept efforts, technology assessments, and architectural due diligence activities.
• Develop and maintain core AI services using Python and TypeScript.
• Design and implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) review workflows a
