Purchase Manager

Location: NSP, Delhi

Department: Procurement

Reports To: Head of Purchase or Purchase Manager

Position Overview: The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement activities for the FMCG or Pharma industry. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts,
managing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services to meet company needs while optimizing cost and quality.

Note: The candidate must have strong knowledge of Lab Chemicals, Glassware, Packing, Engineering Consumable, Raw Material such as Rose Oil, Lavender Oil, Tea, Steric Acid, Kathon CG, Dry Flo, Saffron, MC Wax White, Paraffin Wax, Menthol, Camphor, Cetosteryl Alcohol, Sodium Salt EDTA, Propylene Glycol, PEG400, Purfume, EDTD Di Sodium Salt, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Malia, Glyserine, Almond Oil, Caustic Soda, etc. and Packing Material such as Master Carton & Mono Carton, Inner Box & Outer Box, Intermediate Box, Partition Plate, Pet Jar & Cap, Container & Cap, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:
o Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
o Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers.
o Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts and pricing.
o Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
2. Procurement Strategy:
o Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
o Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
3. Purchase Orders and Inventory Management:
o Oversee the creation and processing of purchase orders.
o Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to ensure optimal stock levels.
o Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
