The Anesthesiologist is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and effective pain management throughout the perioperative period. The anesthesiologist collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations including medical history, physical examination, and assessment of diagnostic data.
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s needs and surgical procedure.
- Administer general, regional, local, or monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthetic depth during procedures, adjusting as necessary.




- Manage airway and provide life support during procedures when required.
- Recognize and respond promptly to anesthetic complications or emergencies.
- Oversee post-anesthesia recovery and pain management, ensuring patient stability.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all anesthesia-related care.
- Supervise residents, CRNAs, or medical students as assigned.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Adhere to institutional policies, safety protocols, and best practice guidelines.
