Sr Engineer – Civil (Substation Execution)

Location: Karnataka (Project Site – Deputation Basis)

Position Summary

The Engineer – Civil (Substation Execution) will oversee
civil construction activities for EHV substation projects across Karnataka,
ensuring timely and quality execution of structural and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute civil works for substation foundations and
structures w.r.t. Approved drawings
- Supervise construction of control rooms building and
equipment foundations
- Oversee cable trenches, drainage systems, and yard
development works
- Ensure compliance with structural drawings and BOQs
- Conduct quality checks for concrete, reinforcement,
and structural work
- Coordinate with electrical teams for alignment and
installation readiness




- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence
to timelines

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 4–8 years of experience in substation civil
execution
- Experience in EHV substation civil works preferred

Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of structural and foundation
drawings
- Knowledge of quality control procedures in civil
construction
- Familiarity with safety norms and compliance
requirements
- Project planning and execution skills
