The Import/Export Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, smooth cargo movement, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of customs procedures, documentation, shipment processes, and vendor management.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day import/export operations (Sea/Air).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, suppliers, and customers.
- Ensure accurate preparation and verification of documents such as BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Certificate, etc.
- Handle customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory/legal requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to clients and internal teams.
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines and vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Manage logistics planning including routing, cargo consolidation, and scheduling.




- Maintain good relationships with overseas agents.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalations, and exceptions.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping as per company and statutory norms.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and analyze performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs.
- Train/guide operations executives and team members.
