- Designation Chief Manager – Product Development
- Location Corporate Office – Mumbai
- Reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer

Key Purpose

As a key member of the Product development & Underwriting team. This role is accountable for market research, innovation & product filing and should have the following traits.

Role and Responsibilities including but not limited to,
- Market research & Innovation.
- Designing of policy wordings & related documents.
- Product filing as per IRDAI norms.
- Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal & Compliance) for all product development matters.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory & product approval related aspects.
- Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met.
- Product Training to underwriters and other stakeholders.

Qualification and competencies
- B.E. / B Tech / MBA/PG




- 5-7 Years of experience in product filing with General Insurance firm
- Hands on experience with analytical tools and statistical packages
- Additional Insurance diploma or certification will be preferred
- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
