- Legal Counsel, providing subject matter expert legal services to the business in India (under the supervision of our Senior Legal Counsel based in Gurgaon)
- Providing legal support on deals including drafting and negotiating contracts with customers and relevant third parties; providing input into contract risk assessment processes; and cooperating closely with the bid team, sales teams, and other business stakeholders on deals.
- Provide legal advice on the day-to-day matters of the company’s business in India
- Provide advice, guidance and support on regulatory and compliance matters which may include disputes and corporate governance.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as a lawyer within multinational companies or a recognized law firm, preferably in the telecommunications or IT industry.
- Qualified to practice law in India or other common law jurisdictions.
- Robust contract negotiation experience & knowledge of legal framework in India
- Business level English language ability, capable to draft and comment in English.
- Confident and excellent communication skil
