Chi Networks is looking to hire an L2 Linux Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux administration and Zabbix monitoring. This role requires robust troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production environments in a 24Ã7 managed services setup.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2-level support for Linux-based systems (production and non-production)
- Monitor system health and performance using Zabbix
- Investigate alerts, incidents, and performance issues and take corrective actions
- Handle escalations from L1 support teams and ensure SLA adherence
- Perform routine system administration tasks (user management, patching, services)




- Assist with server hardening, security updates, and capacity monitoring.
- Coordinate with network, storage, and application teams during incident resolution
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and monitoring configurations
- Participate in rotational shifts supporting 24Ã7Ã365 operations

Requirements
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu)
- Strong hands-on experience with Zabbix monitoring (configuration, alerts, dashboards)
- Good knowledge of:
- Linux OS internals, processes, and services
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, ports)
- Shell scripting (basic to intermediate)
- Experience working in a ticketing / ITIL-based support environment
- Exposure to virtualization or cloud platforms is a plus
