Role
Overview

The
Salesforce Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading business
discovery, designing scalable Salesforce solutions, and translating
business requirements into functional specifications. The role demands robust
stakeholder management, deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, and the
ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver high-quality
implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing clouds.

Key
Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis &
Requirement Gathering
- Conduct
workshops with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain
points, and desired outcomes.
- Translate
business needs into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and
functional requirements.
- Create
end-to-end process maps, data models, and gap analyses.

2. Solution Design &
Functional Ownership
- Design
scalable and best-practice Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Configure
Salesforce features including Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes,
Approvals, Case Management, Reports & Dashboards, Flows.




- Define
data migration and data quality requirements.
- Ensure
design alignment with Salesforce limits, governance, and roadmap.

3. Implementation Coordination
- Work
closely with technical architects and developers to translate requirements into
technical specs.
- Support
build activities, perform configuration, and validate customizations.
- Create
test scenarios and support SIT/UAT cycles, defect management, and release
readiness.

4. Stakeholder & Project
Management
- Act as the
primary liaison between business teams and technical teams.
- Manage
client expectations, drive decisions, and ensure solution sign-offs.
- Support
project planning, risk identification, and dependency management.

5. Change Management &
Training
- Prepare
training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
- Support
change management activities and ensure user adoption.
