Position Overview:

As the Real Estate Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial management and accounting operations related to the real estate development projects. Reporting to the Business Head, you will leverage your accounting expertise to ensure the accurate recording, reconciliation, and taxation compliance of project transactions, including sales and revenue sharing with our joint venture (JV) partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project execution and delivery of real estate development by the firm's JV partner, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
- Supervise and reconcile bookings and sales of development units, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage the accounting of transactions related to real estate development projects, including revenue recognition,



cost allocation, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, legal counsel, and JV partners, to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor and manage the share of revenue attributable to the real estate investment firm from JV partnerships, including profit distributions and equity adjustments.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and taxation laws.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analyses, and cash flow projections for real estate development projects, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
