Job Description:

Position: Quality Control (QC) Executive Education: Diploma or Certification in Jewellery Design/Manufacturing/Quality Control. Graduate degree is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 4 years (mandatory) – RBZ Jewellers Ltd, Bodakdev Position - 1 Reports to: QC Manager / Production Head Job Summary: The QC Executive is responsible for ensuring that all jewellery products meet the company’s quality standards before they are approved for dispatch. This includes inspecting raw materials, in-process work, and finished products for design accuracy, measurements, stone setting, polishing, and overall craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: Inspect jewellery at various production stages – casting, filing, setting, polishing, and final finish. Verify product specifications based on design, measurements, and CAD files. Check for stone quality, setting accuracy, symmetry, polish, and finishing. Ensure proper documentation and tagging of approved and rejected pieces.



Communicate quality issues with relevant departments (CAD, production, setting, polishing). Maintain QC reports and records for tracking performance and quality trends. Work closely with the production team to ensure timely corrections and rework. Assist in developing and updating QC checklists and SOPs. Identify recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in quality control within the jewellery industry. Robust knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, setting, polishing, etc.). Eye for detail and high standards for precision and finish. Ability to read and understand design drawings/CAD files. Familiarity with quality control tools and documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of gemstones and diamond grading is a plus
