We’re looking for a Manager and Technical hands engineer for our newly formed application development team in India.



The People tech team is building the next generation AI powered HR software suite for Snap and looking to accelerate the deployment of these transformative full-stack software solutions. This role is for a hands-on technical leader who can translate product management ideas, stakeholder needs, and People Team priorities into transparent product designs, technical specifications, prototypes, executable engineering plans, and consumer-grade solutions.

This person will lead an engineering team while also coding, architecting, and building. They will also be responsible for reviewing PRs and test plans, writing technical design documents, building solutions, and setting engineering standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with backend services or distributed systems.
- Experience with database design and data modeling.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, including message queues, pub/sub systems, and asynchronous processing patterns.
