Alteryx is building the next generation of cloud-native analytics, powered by Live Query. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape how users interact with analytics running directly on modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
This role is frontend-heavy and focused on building intuitive, high-performance user experiences for complex, data-driven workflows. You’ll work closely with backend and design partners to make powerful analytics capabilities feel simple and responsive.
What you’ll work on
- Design and build frontend features for Live Query workflows and experiences
- Own complex UI flows for configuring, running, and interacting with analytics on cloud data platforms
- Build responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces for data-heavy applications
- Work closely with backend engineers to define APIs and handle asynchronous, long-running interactions
- Drive frontend architecture decisions and improve code quality and maintainability
- Review code, mentor engineers, and help raise the frontend engineering bar on the team
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software engineering
- Solid experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
