About the
Role

We're looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer
specialising in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and support cloud
infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our client. This role requires someone
who can work independently, take ownership of the environments they manage, and
communicate clearly with client stakeholders on technical matters.

Key
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage Azure
infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, or
Terraform)
- Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD
pipelines using Azure DevOps (or GitHub Actions/Jenkins) for automated
build, test, and deployment
- Manage source control practices (Git)
including branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows
- Configure and maintain containerised
environments using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting
using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or similar tools
- Implement and enforce security best




practices — identity and access management (Azure AD/Entra ID), RBAC,
network security, secrets management (Key Vault)
- Automate repetitive operational tasks
using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Manage configuration and environment
consistency across dev, test, staging, and production
- Monitor cloud costs and recommend optimisation
strategies (rightsizing, reserved instances, unused resource cleanup)
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment,
and pipeline issues, and drive root-cause resolution
- Coordinate with development and client
teams to plan releases and manage rollbacks when needed
- Maintain explicit technical documentation
for infrastructure, pipelines, and processes
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and
compliance requirements
