We are looking to hire Sr. Accounting Specialists who have experience on QBO and QBD.
For this current need we are looking for people who are experienced in performing the following:
- Candidates should be flexible to perform multiple different tasks. Many tasks will be repetitive, but will still require a level of intellectual curiosity and ownership to find the right answers and solutions.
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other accounting modules
- Expense Allocations: prepare and appropriately allocate expenses across dozens of entities.
- QuickBooks entries for multi-class entity
- Portfolio company invoicing on quarterly basis
- Balance reconciliation on quarterly basis
- Bank reconciliations
- Roll forward and prepare excel valuation models and update financial metric data from our portfolio monitoring software.
- Investor reporting accuracy/completeness checks
- Document retention reviews
- Investor Portal data reviews for completeness and accuracy
- Financial statement internal consistency checks
- Candidates should be proficient in QuickBooks Online, Desktop
- Candidates should have positive communication skills
- Candidates must be open to learn and work on other Accounting ERPs as required.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of accounting experience, with strong hands-on QuickBooks knowledge
- 4+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop versions
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial principles
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
