Training Overview (Trainer Perspective)

We are seeking a qualified Injection Control Trainer to design and deliver structured training programs focused on safe injection practices, infection prevention, and compliance with hospital safety standards.

The trainer will be responsible for educating healthcare professionals on secure handling, preparation, administration, and disposal of injections to prevent healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), needle-stick injuries, and cross-contamination. The program aims to strengthen patient safety, staff protection, and regulatory compliance within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training on safe injection practices.
- Educate participants on aseptic techniques and infection prevention protocols.
- Train staff on proper syringe and needle handling, preparation,



and disposal procedures.
- Conduct demonstrations on hand hygiene and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Provide guidance on needle-stick injury prevention and post-exposure protocols.
- Ensure compliance with hospital infection control policies and accreditation standards.
- Conduct scenario-based sessions and practical demonstrations.
- Perform pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate competency improvement.
- Prepare SOP references, training materials, and compliance reports.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPC) practices.
- Practical experience in hospital clinical procedures and safe injection protocols.
- Familiarity with NABH or healthcare accreditation standards related to infection control.
- Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
