Environmental Compliance
- Develop and maintain Environment Management System / SOPs in line with site requirements and constantly improve environmental performance.
- Define Health & Safety strategy for the organization in compliance with HSE policy of the organization.
- Monitor implementation of the above system and procedures at shop floor level.
- Conduct Environmental inspection & identify non compliances and suggest closure action.
- Incident Investigation
- Participate in Incident Investigation to reach to the Root cause and suggest recommendations to avoid recurrence.
- Resource Utilization
- Ensure handling and disposal of Hazardous Waste.
- Maintain and minimize the generation of liquid and solid waste. Ensure and effectively manage the treatment of waste generated as well as efficient running of effluent treatment plans.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Oversee ISO standards in terms of documentation requirement and implementation.
- Monitor and manage air and water quality to ensure compliance with environment standards.
- Ensure various Regulatory Compliances, Applications for Consents and Authorization with regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular environmental audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure reduction in the observations during Setting audits.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on environmental performance to the management.
- Risk Management
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize environmental impact.
- Develop strategies to mitigate potential adverse effects on the environment.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for environmental incidents.
- Conduct Environmental incident Investigation and suggest for CAPA.
- Identify and assess environmental risks associated with operations.
- Implement control measures to reduce emissions and discharges.
