Purpose of the role:
Responsible for working on identified plant level process improvement and process implementation activities and execution of new product development. Also provide technical assistance & solutions for smooth running of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Cycle time improvement: Drive process improvements in identified manufacturing processes for cycle reduction, Develop and implement solutions to improve OEE and reduce operator fatigue.
- Work on Recent Product development on channel to ensure right process design and achieve product characteristics as per SKF specifications. Plan & execute industrialization for new bearing types.
- Introduction of new Cutting tools and abrasives (Grinding,Turning & Honing) for output improvement & cost reduction.
- Takes part in PFMEA, Control plan and other channel documents for New Product Development and revision of existing produc
