SharePoint Online Consultant / M365 SharePoint
Implementation Specialist

Location: Hyderabad/ Hybrid (2 days per week)

Full Time

2-11 PM IST / 3 PM -12 AM IST

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Online
Consultant to help one of our clients design, implement, and adopt SharePoint
Online as part of their Microsoft 365 environment.

The consultant will work closely with business users to understand their
collaboration, document management, and workflow needs — then configure and
deploy SharePoint Online following Microsoft best practices.

This role also includes training end users and administrators to ensure smooth
adoption and ongoing governance.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Planning
- Meet with business
stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, understand
existing processes, and identify collaboration needs.
- Assess current file
storage and communication methods (e.g., shared drives, Teams, email).
- Develop a SharePoint
implementation plan, including information architecture, site
hierarchy, permissions model, and governance.





Design & Implementation
- Design and configure SharePoint
Online sites, libraries, lists, and permissions based on business
needs.
- Implement document
management best practices — including metadata, versioning, content
types, and approval workflows.
- Integrate SharePoint
with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power
Apps, Outlook).
- Apply branding and
navigation customization to improve user experience.
- Establish governance,
security, and compliance policies in line with M365 best practices.

Training & Handover
- Develop and deliver end-user
and admin training
- Create user guides
and documentation for content owners and site administrators.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust experience (5+
years) with SharePoint Online (modern experience) and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze
business requirements and translate them into functional SharePoint
so
