Role Overview

The Lead – Compliance (Technologies) will drive regulatory and policy compliance for GalaxEye’s technology development, manufacturing, and international operations. This role focuses on navigating the complex policy environment governing the space and defence ecosystem — including licensing, export–import controls, government approvals, and international regulatory obligations.

The position requires robust understanding of Indian regulatory processes, global space governance. frameworks, and cross-border movement of high-technology systems. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring compliant execution of missions, partnerships, procurement, and shipments.

This role builds upon the foundational responsibilities of technology compliance research and coordination, expanding into ownership of regulatory strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Government Liaison

â Manage compliance with Indian regulatory bodies relevant to the space sector, including IN-SPACe, WPC, DGFT, MEA, DRDO, and related authorities.

â Coordinate approvals,



authorizations, and clearances required for technology development, testing, launches, and operations.

â Act as the primary interface with government agencies for compliance matters.

Policy Monitoring & Impact Assessment

â Track evolving national and international policies affecting space activities, remote sensing, dual-use technologies, and defense-linked programs.

â Assess regulatory impact on business operations and recommend compliance strategies.

â Support leadership with policy briefings and risk assessments for new initiatives or markets.

Export & Import Compliance

â Manage export and import requirements for satellite systems, components, ground equipment, and technical data.

â Handle licensing under SCOMET and other applicable export control frameworks.

â Oversee customs documentation, cross-border shipment compliance, and coordination with logistics partners.
