Call for Applications for Jr. HR Specialist (R-24) – ANNAM.AI

Location: ANNAM.AI, Center of Excellence in AI for Agriculture, IIT Ropar (Onsite preferred; hybrid/remote may also be considered)

Type: Full time | Contractual | Renewable based on performance
Compensation: ₹4–6 Lakhs per annum (Based on qualifications and experience)
Performance Incentives: Additional incentives based on performance and outcomes, subject to Governing Board approval
Tenure: Initial appointment for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years
Minimum experience of 1–3 years (May be relaxed in the case of exceptional candidates.)
Role Summary

As the Jr. HR Specialist of ANNAM.AI, you will support the HR function by assisting in recruitment, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations. You will work closely with the Sr. HR Specialist and organizational leadership to ensure smooth HR processes, compliance, and effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, scheduling, and documentation.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring smooth induction.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.

2. HR Operations & Compliance
- Support payroll preparation, leave management, and employee data maintenance.
- Ensure HR documentation and records are in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in drafting HR policies and updating employee handbooks.

3. Employee Engagement & Support
- Organize employee engagement activities, events, and feedback sessions.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and support.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote workplace well-being and inclusivity.
